terms of service

Wisp is a Discord bot providing moderation, logging, tickets, leveling, music, and a range of other server utilities, free to use, with no commands locked behind payment. It's operated independently and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.

You agree not to use wisp to:

• Violate Discord's own Terms of Service or Community Guidelines — those apply on top of these terms, not instead of them.
• Abuse, exploit, or attempt to overload wisp's commands (spamming a command to disrupt the bot, attempting to bypass cooldowns or permission checks, and similar).
• Use wisp to harass, threaten, or target another person or server.
• Attempt to reverse the bot's moderation/antinuke systems to nuke or damage a server you don't own or have explicit permission to administer.

Breaking these gets a server blacklisted from using wisp. We don't do this lightly, and there's no appeal process beyond reaching out to the support server if you think it was a mistake.

If you add wisp to a server, you're responsible for how it's configured there — moderation settings, autoresponders, custom messages, and every other configurable feature. Wisp gives you the tools; what you build with them in your own server is on you.

Wisp is provided as-is, without any uptime guarantee. It can go down for maintenance, a Discord outage, a bug, or reasons outside our control. Check the status page for current health. We'll always try to fix things quickly, but we're not liable for anything lost or disrupted by downtime (this includes voice sessions, in-progress giveaways, and similar time-sensitive features).

Wisp is provided "as is" with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee it's free of bugs, or that any specific command will behave exactly as documented in every edge case. If something's broken, tell us — we treat bug reports seriously — but we can't promise perfection.

To the extent permitted by law, wisp and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from using (or being unable to use) the bot — this includes lost data, lost server activity, or moderation actions taken by the bot's own automated systems (antinuke, honeypot, etc.) that a server administrator configured.

These terms can change as wisp changes. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page — there's no separate notification system, this page is the source of truth.
