Antinuke
Stops someone from wrecking your server, even if they're an admin.
In short
- A nuke is when someone deletes channels, bans everyone or destroys roles, usually from a hacked account.
- Antinuke notices when someone does too much damage too fast, and stops them.
- Turn it on with
,antinuke setup. The defaults are safe for most servers.
How it works#
Every module watches one kind of action, like banning people or deleting channels. If one person does that action more than a set number of times in 10 seconds, wisp punishes them straight away.
That number is called the threshold. A threshold of 3 on mass bans means: ban 3 people within 10 seconds and you're stopped.
Set it up#
- 1
Turn it on
Type
,antinuke setup. Every module is switched on with sensible settings. - 2
Look at your settings
Type
,antinuke. You'll see every module with an on/off switch next to it. - 3
Trust your other bots
Bots like music bots can trip antinuke by accident. Add them with
,antinuke whitelist @botso they're always allowed.
What can happen to someone?#
| Punishment | What it does |
|---|---|
| Ban | Removes them from the server for good |
| Kick | Removes them, but they can rejoin |
| Strip roles | Takes away all their roles |
| Strip staff | Takes away only their staff roles |
| Jail | Moves them to a locked jail channel |
| Timeout | Mutes them for an hour |
Turn on Protection Role in the panel. It gives wisp a backup admin role so attackers can't take wisp's powers away.
