Autoroles & reaction roles

Give roles automatically, or let members pick their own.

In short

  • Autoroles are given to everyone the moment they join.
  • Reaction roles let members pick a role by reacting to a message.

Autoroles#

,autorole add @Member

Everyone who joins from now on gets the Member role. You can add up to a few roles.

Reaction roles#

    Post a message

    Write something like React with 🎨 to get the Artist role.

  2. 2

    Copy its ID

    Right-click the message and choose Copy Message ID. You need Developer Mode on (Discord Settings → Advanced).

  3. 3

    Link the emoji to a role

    Type ,reactionrole add (message ID) 🎨 @Artist.

Removing the reaction takes the role away again.
