Welcome & goodbye

Greet people when they join and say bye when they leave.

In short

  • Pick a channel and write a message, wisp sends it when someone joins or leaves.
  • Use variables like {user.mention} to put their name in the message.

Set it up#

  1. 1

    Open the setup

    Type ,setup and choose Welcome from the dropdown.

    Pick a channel

    Click the pencil next to Welcome Channel.

  3. 3

    Write your message

    Click the pencil next to Welcome Message, for example: hey {user.mention}, welcome!

Goodbye messages work exactly the same way. Pick Goodbye from the dropdown instead.
